Our portraits are offered in two extraordinary finishes:
The Classic Finish
The Classic finish is our conventional, standard finish displaying the realism of a photograph with rich artistic enhancements and is available in every size. Our artist will carefully go through and embellish in all the right areas to make sure you look your absolute best. This portrait is finished with a canvas texture, mounted to artist masonite for durability and beauty, and sealed with a protective coating.
The Legacy Finish
The Legacy finish is our most exquisite offering and the closest thing to getting a master oil painting done. Because of the amount of labor involved, we can only finish a very finite amount of Legacy Portraits per year. As a result, they are limited to sizes 30” or larger.
In our Legacy finish, the portrait is rendered entirely as a painting. Our artist commences digitally in a program developed specifically for traditional painters. In this program, the artist chooses her brush, the exact number of bristles on her brush. She mixes her paint colors and decides the precise amount of paint to apply to the brush. She then chooses the angle, the pressure, and brush technique, just as one would with traditional old world painting. After the artist is finished, we carefully create archival quality pigments to bleed into a unique museum-grade canvas from Germany. The end result is a spectacular portrait that is truly one of a kind. Because of the special materials that we use, our Legacy Portraits are rated for 250 years before any fading takes place.

Wardrobe Guide
Clothing selection for your portrait is extremely important for the overall look of your art piece. All wardrobe selections should be formal and timeless in black or jewel tones. Solid colors work best and the style should be clean and classic. We are creating an heirloom piece that will be passed down for many generations, so it is important that the clothing in the portrait will stand the test of time.

Gentlemen should choose a dark suit and tie or a tuxedo. Ladies are best in a dress, preferably knee length or longer, or a gown. We always want the eyes drawn to the face, so a shawl or stole with a sleeveless dress is also a tasteful option that will add interest and texture to the portrait. Classic pearls, diamond studs, and simple jewelry are always lovely accessories.

Older children and teens should be dressed in dark or jewel tones with suits or tuxedos for the boys and dresses for the girls. It is acceptable for children under the age of five to dress in lighter tones if preferred. Solid colors and a classic style are equally important. Bowties and neckties are encouraged, as well as simple jewelry for the girls. Sleeveless or short-sleeved dresses are acceptable, as well as vests or dress shirts only for younger boys if preferred. Shoes should be clean and complement the formality of the outfits. For young girls, clean nails without nail polish or just a simple clear coat is best.
